SaM Solutions Is Prize-Winner of HR Brand Award Belarus 2020

SaM Solutions participated in the HR Brand Award Belarus 2020 competition and was ranked second in the Capital category.

HR Brand Award Belarus — is a competition in the field of human resource management. It highlights the best HR projects and provides the opportunity for specialists to exchange their experiences and learn about the best HR practices.

This year, 27 participants from all over the country presented their HR projects in 8 categories. These were representatives of the FMCG, banking, IT and construction sectors.

These were representatives of the FMCG, banking, IT and construction sectors. The event was held online: on November 25–26, the nominees talked about their projects during an online marathon; on December 9, the jury announced the results of the competition.

We presented the project “SaM MeetApp: do, learn, share, change”, dedicated to knowledge exchange and the development of technical communities within the company. The main goal of this project was not only to create a technical solution but also to create conditions and organize a digital platform for:

• knowledge sharing
• the development of technical communities within the company (we have formed five active communities — .NET, Frontend, Java, QA, BA/PM)
• establishing friendly relations and horizontal ties between employees.

Within this project, we developed a mobile application SaM MeetApp that enables employees to receive company news, suggest and vote for meetup topics, and create events and subscribe to them. More than 45% of employees actively use the application. The app is available in Google Play and App Store.

We encourage a knowledge-sharing culture at SaM Solutions, so our meetups are open to all employees, regardless of their position. More than 25 employees have already tried their hand at speaking at our meetups.Within the project, we have already organized over 70 meetups.

SaM MeetApp is especially valuable for those working remotely: online meetings maintain team spirit and help newcomers adapt.
